The women's lives intertwine; good scotch is consumed, lovers come and go and almost everything around them changes, but writing is the glue that holds their friendships fast.

About the Author
Maureen Foss's first novel, The Cadillac Kind, was published by Polestar in 1996. The zany masterpiece was serialized on CBC's "Between the Covers." Her second novel, The Rat Trap Murders, was published by Nightwood Editions. Maureen was born in New Westminster, BC, and now lives in Lac La Hache in the Cariboo.

Great book club read!

Love this book! It's perfect for a book club book. The author really did a great job on the characters and their unique personalities. An easy, fun read. I will be recommending this novel at my next book club meeting.
