Una gran preparación.

Goldsworthy ha tenido a mano y utilizado a conciencia toda la documentación histórica de la época que trata su novela. Con un tema apasionante a esta novela le falta pasión y poesía. Además termina prematuramente. Si es parte de una saga tiene que ser independiente y a la vez permitir la continuación; al final quedan demasiados cabos sueltos en la parte novelada y en la histórica. Igual se disfruta y es leíble y sirve para ubicarse en la época.
